Summer Reading 2014: Home

All Niles North Students will have the opportunity to purchase a book at 75% off the list price. Students who qualify for fee waivers, free/reduced lunch will get a free book. Most book prices will range from $2 - $4 and will be available for purchase on:

Tuesday, May 20 - Junior Break for Books
Juniors will have the opportunity to attend book talks on summer reading choices and purchase a book.

Wednesday, May 21 - Sophomore Break for Books
Sophomores will have the opportunity to attend book talks on summer reading choices and purchase a book.

Thursday, May 22 - Freshman Break for Books
Freshmen will have the opportunity to attend book talks on summer reading choices and purchase a book.

Friday, May 23 - All Students (Freshmen through Juniors) will have the opportunity to purchase a summer reading book during lunch periods in the Reading Point. Books will be offered at 75% off the list price.

Book sales will ONLY take place during this week!   CASH ONLY

Summer Reading is required of all Niles North students and should be completed before the start of the school year.  Each tab contains information (plot summaries, author info, book trailers) on a book - 18 books from which to choose. Remember you need only choose one title (but feel free to read more!). If you click on the image of the book you will find additional information about the book and an opportunity to read a portion of the book - always a good way to choose a book!
