Welcome to Independent Reading! 

Independent Reading is all about choice in reading, so please click on and listen to any number of the book talks below and get the book that interests you the most. Once you find a book, click on the "Reserve a Book Here" link (under the instructional video) to reserve the book.  When the book is ready to be picked up you will receive an email with directions on how to pick up the book at the Niles North Library. If you check out a book and find that it doesn't interest you as much as you thought it would, email Ms. Zbinden or Ms. Greener to exchange it for another title.
