Summary

In 1888, 12-year-old Will Henry chronicles his apprenticeship with Dr. Warthrop, a scientist who hunts and studies real-life monsters, as they discover and attempt to destroy a pod of Anthropophagi.

About the Author

Rick Yancey went to Roosevelt University in Chicago and graduated with a degree in English.  He then worked as a teacher and in theatre before becoming a revenue officer with the IRS.  His first novel was aptly titled Confesssions of a Tax Collector, and he left the IRS to pursue writing full-time when it was published. Other popular books of his include the Alfred Kropp trilogy for Young Adults and the Teddy Ruzak mystery series for adults.
